The terms of play.

Whack-a-Reset is operated by NEMO APP PTE. LTD., Singapore. These terms cover the game, scoreboards, support payments and sponsorships. Play fairly, check your purchase, and keep submitted links suitable for the game.

Playing and submitting scores

You may play for personal entertainment. Do not cheat, automate score submissions, bypass safeguards, disrupt the service or misuse another person’s identity. Choose a public player name that you have the right to use and that does not expose private information.

We may verify, correct, reset, reorder or remove scores and rankings at any time in our sole reasonable discretion, including to address bugs, rule changes, fraud or abuse. A score or position is not a prize, an entitlement to remain listed, or a promise of future availability.

Supporting the game

Support payments help fund the game. They do not buy an in-game advantage and are not represented as charitable or tax-deductible donations. Amounts and currency are shown before you pay through Stripe. You must be authorised to use the payment method; if you cannot legally enter this purchase yourself, a parent or guardian must make it for you.

Sponsor links and positions

A sponsorship supports a submitted link’s placement on the sponsor board, subject to these terms and the offer shown at checkout. We may combine contributions for the same link. Other contributions can move your link down the board, and placement may change after refunds, payment disputes, corrections or moderation.

We may change the ranking method, reorder entries, and modify, suspend or remove sponsor links or the board at any time in our sole reasonable discretion. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, no payment guarantees a particular rank, display duration, uninterrupted listing, number of views or clicks, sales, search-engine ranking, or SEO benefit.

Keep links and messages fit for the desk

Sponsor messages may contain up to 24 characters, counted as Unicode code points after normalization. Use a single line of plain text, with no links, email addresses or markup. Public sponsor messages appear after payment confirmation and remain subject to owner review and removal. Private notes are not published. Hostile, abusive or otherwise unsuitable messages are prohibited. These moderation rules apply to both messages and links.

Submit only links and material you are authorised to promote. You grant us permission to display the submitted link and associated text for the sponsorship. You remain responsible for the destination, its claims and any later changes.

We may reject, edit, replace the displayed wording of, disable or remove material we reasonably consider distasteful or unsuitable, including offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, illegal, deceptive or malicious content, malware, impersonation, infringement of others’ rights, or attempts to evade moderation. We may act without advance notice when needed to protect people or the service. Sponsor links are advertisements, not our endorsement of their owners or products.

Payments and refunds

Support and sponsorship payments are final and non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or remedies.

Availability and responsibility

We may update, pause or discontinue the game and its features. Saves, rankings and links can change or become unavailable. We take reasonable care, but do not promise an uninterrupted or error-free service. External websites have their own terms and risks.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect business losses such as lost profits or anticipated sponsor traffic. Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or reduces your mandatory consumer rights.

Changes, law and contact

Singapore law governs these terms, subject to mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings that apply where you live. We will publish changes here with an updated date. Material changes to an existing paid commitment will not remove rights you already have.
